The Wireless experience
If you look at the time the Internet is with us, you can say that wireless is present for a pretty long time. But, it has seen a boom in popularity only in the recent years.
It is what usually attracts people to it, and it is probably the best thing about it. You can access the web from anywhere in your home, and sometimes even from the outside.
You don't have to be an expert to set up this kind of network.
There are no messy wires
It is by far the prettiest and most clean solution when it comes to networking. You don't have to connect those ugly cables to connect your Xbox or Computer to play.
Wired networks are still faster than wireless. This is not a huge flaw, but it can be a bit of a hassle.
Reliability and Security
Networks that are wireless and easier to break into than Wired networks. They can be unstable as well, but it is rare. Of course it depends on your provider and the network package you have. Also the settings and the router device you buy contribute to stability of the network.
This is probably the greatest flaw of Wireless networks. They cost somewhat more than wired networks and some people may not have the possibility to afford this. So this is something that may not be a problem, but it can be for some people.
Wired networks are cheap, they are stable, fast, reliable and that is why many decide to use them. But, they are not practical, mobile and are messy with the cables. Wireless on the other hand is gaining more and more popularity day by day. It has a lot of mobility, it is practical and it's speed is increasing daily. Now comes the hard part, deciding which network to get.
