By using just the email link as we did before, our mailboxes were being filled with literally thousands of email viruses a day. Then we realized that maybe by using a contact FORM rather then a link, spammers would be less likely to spam their way to us. We'll keep you updated here if our efforts have had any success.
Update - After our first week of using a mail form, our email boxes are receiving lesser and lesser amounts of junk emails and email viruses. As per our mail form experiment, we can now call it a success and would recommend other webmasters to do the same. Mail Form has worked for us, and there is a good chance it'll work for you as well. |
